How to avoid 'interruptions' at work?

Learn to manage interruptions by being assertive, using body language and so on. For example, if people come to your desk to chat when you are busy, then you have to tell them that you’d love to come and see them later but just now you have to meet a deadline and need to get on with your work – and check they are not busy when you want to see them. Use body language to show them you’re not available to chat by standing up and looking as if you’re going somewhere. If you have your own office, walk them to the door.

If you want to shine in your role, take a look at the training courses we offer at Bingo Traders. Designed specifically for EAs, PAs, HR, Admins, Office Managers,… , these learning opportunities provide the skills and knowledge you’ll need to excel.
